We’re looking for a Senior Process Engineerto join our Engineering and Process Systems team! You’ll be part of an experienced group designing and delivering advanced process solutions and hardware for the oil and gas industry. The position is based in Trondheim (Oslo or Porsgrunn possible), full-time with flexible working arrangements.

You bring solid oil & gas processing experience and strong technical competence. SLB’s world-leading separation technology and patents set the standard, and as Senior Process Engineer you will lead small to large, complex projects and tenders, taking full ownership of process engineering activities. You’ll collaborate closely with Execution Centers, Sales, and project support functions to ensure projects meet client requirements.

Meet our Team
You’ll join SLB’s Engineering and Process Systems team---a skilled group designing, engineering, and fabricating advanced processing equipment for oil, gas, water, and solids. Our projects range from single-train vessels to multi-deck modules weighing up to 3,000 tons for both onshore and offshore facilities. We work directly with external clients and support internal SLB projects, delivering solutions that make a real impact.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Develop innovative process and separation solutions using SLB’s technology portfolio.
• Support proposals by evaluating client needs and designing tailored equipment solutions.
• Lead process design activities, including PFDs, P&IDs, and project deliverables.
• Provide technical expertise during sales, projects, and troubleshooting -- onshore and offshore.
• Contribute to R&D, simulations (HYSYS, CFD, FEA), and knowledge sharing within the team.

What Are We Looking For
• Higher education in Process Engineering, Fluid Dynamics, or other relevant fields.
• 5--10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with system design for oil & gas processing (preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English and Norwegian communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of HYSYS, LabVIEW, CFD, and FEA software (desirable).
