Héctor Food & Fiesta is looking for a Team Leader, the right hand to our Restaurant Manager and a key player in running the daily fiesta.

Born from a love of Mexican/Californian flavors and vibrant Cali-Mex culture, Héctor is all about bold food, refreshing drinks, and a high-energy atmosphere right in the heart of Solsiden. With 200+ seats, a booming takeaway service, a festival-loving food truck, and a whole lot of personality, we're searching for someone who can help keep the operations smooth and the vibes unmatched.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you're the boots-on-the-ground leader, the one who keeps the floor flowing, the crew supported, and our guests smiling.

You'll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to execute daily operations and make sure every service hits the standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the Crew
• Support, guide, and motivate the team during service.
• Ensure everyone knows their roles and performs at their best.
• Lead by example with energy, ownership, and a "we've got this" attitude.

Running Smooth Operations
• Oversee floor flow, table management, and guest satisfaction throughout service.
• Help with shift plans, staffing, break rotations, and solving small problems before they become big ones.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, atmosphere, music, and overall vibe.

Supporting the Restaurant Manager
• Be the RM's right hand: communicate what's happening on the floor, follow up on tasks, and secure structure in daily routines.
• Help train new employees and make sure our service style stays consistent.
• Take responsibility for opening/closing routines when assigned.

Owning the Guest Experience
• Jump in where needed; hosting, bar, floor, problem-solving, hype-building.
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and positivity.
• Ensure the "Héctor Vibe" shines through every shift.

What We're Looking For

• Has restaurant or hospitality experience (bonus if you've led shifts before).
• Loves working with people and brings out the best in others.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and stays cool under pressure.
• Understands the operational flow of a restaurant; bookings, pacing, teamwork, and guest service.
• Leads with presence, positivity, structure, and accountability.
• Brings energy, fun, and professionalism; in equal doses.
