Our in-house ship management division is now looking for a new Technical Superintendent / Vessel Manager (Teknisk Inspektør).

A Technical Superintendent has the overall responsibility for the safe, economical and efficient operation of assigned vessels, i.e. that the vessels, within allocated human and financial resources, are managed, crewed and operated in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures and management system. In addition to the management of assigned vessels the right candidate may also be involved in other tasks such as maintaining and developing company’s maintenance system, upgrade and improvement projects, creation of Power BI reports, studies, and development of company’s procedures.

Eligible candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
• Chief Engineer's certificate for unlimited trade and seagoing experience in senior rank on large cargo ships for a minimum of 2 years (sea time)
• MSc degree or B.Eng. Honours, preferably in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture
• Minimum 4 years working experience in a responsible technical position in a shipbuilding yard, ship repair yard, similar organization or Classification Society
