Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking curious, service-minded, and reliable individuals who enjoy connecting with people and working in a dynamic environment.

Requirements:
• Fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: German, Spanish, Italian, French, Norwegian, Dutch. Other languages are an advantage.
• If you are not a Norwegian citizen, you must be an EU/EEA citizen or already have a valid Norwegian work permit.
• Interest in Norwegian history, culture, and nature.
• Guide Certification (or willingness to obtain one).

Not Certified Yet?
Our guides must hold a Guide Certification to ensure high professional standards and confidence on tour. Several certification options are available in Norway.

We recommend the Guide Academy Certification Programme , which includes an engaging online course (completed remotely) and an intensive on-site training session in Bergen starting April the 8th 2026.

No prior guiding experience is required, only passion and enthusiasm!

Norwegian Guide Service covers the certification fee for candidates who commit to working a full season exclusively with us.
